Of Work and sickness

I’ve been exposed to overtime in offices since god know when.
I’ve had experiences where i practically stayed in the office for 2 days in a row.. that’s 48hrs!.
But it never affected my health.

Now in this office, somehow i think the ventilation system is not very good. Almost everytime i had to stay back and work over time, i will surely get sick 2-3 days after that.

now when i was at Creative Juice\Sil, this never happen. Now y’all remember that last few week i was down with flu and sore throat.. now im at it again.

The one that’s affected severely is my pregnant wife.. poor you baby..

Hmm.. this is bad..

The World Is Your Oyster

Taken From Wikipedia (Which i think is a great invetion for mankind! to some it’s GOD! haha) :

“The common name oyster is used for a number of different groups of bivalve mollusks, most of which live in marine habitats or brackish water. The oyster is used as a metaphor in an idiomatic saying, “The world is your oyster”, which means that the whole world is laid out before you like a wonderful living buffet.”

Here’s what i need y’all to help me out. I am currently trying to gather some data on Oysters Farming in Malaysia.

So please, if any of you or your friends have any thoughts on Oyster Farming in Malaysia, please drop me a comment together with your email.

Some of the questions that probably you can help me with:

1. Do you take Oyster? (Raw or cooked?)

2. Where do you think your oysters that you consume comes from? (Country? local? international?)

3. Do you think that fresh oysters in your favorite Hyper market is expensive?

4. Do you really think that fresh oysters in your favorite Hyper market is really fresh?

5. Do you obviously think that Oysters from N.Z or Canada or any other “Mat Salleh” country is fresh and good for you?

6. How can you tell that the oysters that are being serve is not from local supplier despite what they wrote on the Menu?

7. Would you sheepishly admit that even if the restaurant / hotel serves you locally bred oysters, you wouldn’t know how to tell the difference?

8. Would you buy cheap but fresh Oysters if there are any?

There! those are the questions that has been dangling over my head for the past 3-4 days and even my sweet wifey didn’t know about it!

A visit by Mr. Sickness

Hey y’all,

I’ve been down with sore throat, runny nose and slight fever since Sunday Night.

This morning, i felt really sick and been waking up every half and hour to cough up my flam and blow my blocked nose. The coughing and blowing up the blocked nose had cause pain in my abdomen and my back.

Innitailly the doctor said it’s a commom case of Pharyngitis (cases, a painful inflammation of the pharynx, and is colloquially referred to as a sore throat. Infection of the tonsils (tonsillitis) and/or larynx (laryngitis) may occur simultaneously.)

Then there was the Flu.

I think it’s the season.

Now Liza is having bad coughs and i pity her.

I guess i’ll be on hiatus for a while till my sickness wears off.

A little Game on the side

I know i promised to do a review on my newly acquired “Samurai”. But this one game has compelled me to do the review before “Samurai”

For those of you who loves RPG (Role Playing Games) or Dungeons and Dragons, Lord of the Rings, Warcraft or simply loves playing good ol’ good times with friends laughing your heart out, then Munchkin is the game for you!

Though it’s not a boardgame, it does gives you the same “kick” of gaming. Basically this game is a parody for all those “hack and slash” elements that we all adore. Think Conan, Dungoens and Dragons, Lord of the Rings, The Willow ..think wizads, warriors, elves, half-ling and dwarves!

The objective of the game is to win by reaching level 10! and all of you will start at lvl 1. through out the game you will encounter monsters, demons and other gory creatures. Hey, it won’t be a game without the “evil” elements right?

Some Monsters that you may encounter

Of course some other hard-hitting monsters that can kill you:

aah..yes, you will also progress your level through few ways:

1. Recieving a card that allows you to gain a level or two.

2. Defeating a monster that you encounter and gain the level stated in the monster card.

3. Buy the level through selling your items! Every 10,000 gold pieces gives u 1 level.

Now the fun part!

As most of “hack and slash” genre, you have to kill monsters and progress your character along the way. As i mentioned that you started as level 1 human at the start of the game, some cards that you encouter will somehow bestow you different race (Dwarf, elf, gnome..etc)  and different character such as thief, wizard..etc..) From these race and characters that you progress, you will have special abilities that comes with your race. Not just special abilities, even funny abilities too! there are cards that even asked you to sing a song to complete a task!

You will also need weapons to “hack and slash” your way..

OK, apart from these weapons to aid you in your noble quest (ehem..) you will also equipped with armours and gears to make sure you will be the envy of your friends..also you must look good while killing monsters!

 

Apart from your weapon, you can use spells and magics to make your way!

 

All and all this is a fun game. However, you need a like minded group of friends that at least have an interest in “hack and slash” or warcraft-est genre! take some time to intepret the rules and the cards individually!
